HYPHO

Why This Exists

Most AI content falls into one of two buckets: hype from people trying to sell you something, or jargon from people who forgot what it's like to not already understand it. HYPHO exists because neither of those is actually useful.

The premise is simple. AI is going to matter — a lot — for how people work, earn, and make decisions. The people who understand it clearly will have an enormous advantage over those who don't. And right now, most of the clear thinking about AI is locked behind technical literacy that the average person never asked to need.

HYPHO is built to close that gap. No jargon. No hype. Just the real explanation, written for someone who has a job to do and wants AI to help them do it better.

The Standard

Every article on HYPHO is written to actually answer the question it promises to answer. That means:

  • Starting with what the reader actually wants to know, not what's easiest to explain
  • Citing primary sources, not just other content sites
  • Being honest about uncertainty — AI is a fast-moving space and overclaiming is the norm; we try not to do that
  • Writing at a level that respects the reader's intelligence without assuming their background

Who's Behind It

HYPHO was founded by Tyler Ericcsen. The goal from the start was to build the resource that should have existed when most people were first trying to figure out what AI actually meant for their lives — practical, honest, and written for people rather than at them.

The App

Beyond the articles, HYPHO is also a mobile app — structured AI lessons, daily practice, and courses built for people who use AI at work every day. If you want something more structured than reading, the app is free to download.
